The University of Bridgeport is located a little more than an hour by train or car from New York City, and just under three hours from Boston. Students often participate in musical events in Fairfield, New Haven, Hartford and Stamford Connecticut as well. Situated within sight of the Long Island Sound and surrounded by scenic Seaside Park, the music program offers students an interesting and balanced lifestyle. Students often balance intense musical activity with workouts in the Wheeler Recreation Center (weights, pool, steamroom and saunas), and the Marina Dining Hall is also located closeby.
