Agriculture in Nepal

Nepal is a developing country. Most of the people live in village.81% people live on agriculture. They depend on agriculture either partly or completely. Most of the fertile land is in Terai region. The farmers in Nepal produce different kinds of crops and vegetables. They keep some for themselves and sell some of the crops for earning money. Most of the Nepalese farmers use old and traditional method to grow crops. They use local seeds. They do not have enough irrigation facility, their production relies on the monsoon and their production is very low. Moreover the government imports the agricultural products from India in cheap price but the production cost is very high in Nepal; as a result, they can't get proper price for their products.
