prithvi Narayan shah king of nepal(1723-1775A.D.)was nepal nobleman.He was the ninth generation lescendant of dravya shah (1559-1570A.D.) THE FOUNDER OF THE RULINGHOUSE OF Gorkha prithvi Narayan shah sekceeded his father king Narabhupal shah to the throne of Gorkha in 1743A.D.He is member of the ruling shah family of gurkha(Gorkha) principality he gonquered the three malla kingdoms and consolidated them after unifying nepal he annexed territory in northern india as well as large portions of the plateau of tibet and of the valleys of yhe himalayas.He sealed nepal's border and maintained peace ful but distanct relation with the british.
